Physical Security Specialist (m/f/d)

We are a hands-on Security Operations Center (SOC). We don't develop anti-virus software; we defend critical infrastructure. 

As a Physical Security Specialist within our SOC team, you own the physical perimeter. 

You ensure that video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems worldwide don't operate in silos, but are seamlessly correlated within our monitoring and incident response architecture. 

Your focus: Detecting physical anomalies, analyzing data, and shutting down incidents before they escalate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Concept & Strategy: Develop, plan, and implement physical security concepts for company sites, including security zones, access control, and the protection of critical areas.
• Video Systems & Lifecycle: Manage, optimize, and oversee the lifecycle administration of video surveillance systems, including hardware selection, implementation, and modernization.
• Monitoring & Alarm Solutions: Design and enhance physical alarm and monitoring solutions, including the correlation of camera, door, and access-control events for early detection of security incidents.
• Data Analysis & Forensics: Analyze, evaluate, and visualize security-relevant data, leading incident handling and forensic investigations of physical security events.
• Risk & Business Continuity: Conduct risk and threat assessments while supporting emergency, evacuation, and business continuity planning.
• IT Security Support: Support the monitoring and protection of IT systems, as well as the analysis of security incidents, vulnerabilities, and incident response processes.

Requirements:

• Completed education in IT (e.g. technical college, business school with IT focus) or equivalent training/experience
• Reliable, structured, and service-oriented working style
• Resilience, flexibility, and commitment
• High willingness to learn and contribute
• Discretion and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken

Salary:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally align with market-standard salaries - meaning that, depending on the position and education, an above-collective agreement salary is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 46.900 EUR. Depending on qualifications and experience, we can also offer more!
