Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d)

With your committed and dynamic personality you support our Purchasing team in all procurement marketing activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Purchasing responsibility for assigned projects
• Strategic purchase of production material and components (global)
• Measures to optimize costs in the procurement process
• Advising the departments in the purchasing process
• Conducting needs analysis, market analysis and supplier analysis
• Independent evaluation, expansion and development of business relationships with suppliers
• Responsibility for purchased parts in terms of costs, quality and technical design
• Market research with an international focus in the course of the purchasing project
• Participation in cross-functional teams for the supplier management (e.g. engineering, project and quality management, logistics)
• Actively influencing the product development process as well as carrying out and driving forward cost reduction measures (design to cost, target costing, etc.)
• Implementation of common parts management (standardization)
• Conducting price and contract negotiations (including risk and contract management)

Requirements:

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, UNI)
• Ideally several years of professional experience in strategic (technical) purchasing
• Negotiating skills and stress resilience
• Structured  and goal oriented way of work
• Ability to work in a team and inter-divisional thinking
• Good English skills
• Good EDV practice skills (ideally SAP)

Salary:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally align with market-standard salaries - meaning that, depending on the position and education, an above-collective agreement salary is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 49.000 EUR. Depending on qualifications and experience, we can also offer more!
