Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) Export Control

Primary responsibilities:

• Coordination: Cooperation with various divisions as contact person for export control
• Legal monitoring: updating and tracking national and international export control regulations and guidelines
• Risk assessment: analyzing and assessing potential risks in export activities
• Internal guidelines: development, implementation and expansion of internal control programs and processes for compliance with export control regulations
• Sanctions screening: screening international business relationships for export regulations, embargoes and sanctions and global business partners against current sanctions lists
• Goods classification: Classification of goods in accordance with US, EU and national law in coordination with internal technical departments
• Training and education: expanding the training concept and conducting training for employees on export control procedures and compliance requirements
• Audit and reporting: Conducting internal audits and regular reporting to management

Requirements:

• Export control knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements as set forth by agencies such as BMWET, European Commission, BIS, OFAC or similar international institutions
• Trade interest: Interest in international trade relations
• Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical & solution-oriented thinking and a structured way of working
• Attention to detail: Conscientious consideration of all relevant information
• Management: High self-motivation and organizational skills to effectively manage and organize documentation and licensing processes
• Communication skills: Clear communication of compliance requirements and procedures to employees and business partners
• Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• IT skills: SAP experience an advantage and proficient with MS Office applications

 Salary:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally align with market-standard salaries - meaning that, depending on the position and education, an above-collective agreement salary is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 47.600 EUR. Depending on qualifications and experience, we can also offer more!
