Team Lead Payroll (m/f/d)

In this newly created role as Team Lead Payroll (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for a dedicated and experienced team of five and ensure a smooth and error-free payroll process. You will be the central point of contact for all payroll-related matters and drive the optimization of our processes in our growing company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Professional and organizational leadership of the established payroll team
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly payroll processing (approx. 1,300 employees)
• Responsibility for compliance with legal/collective agreement regulations as well as internal policies
• Advisory role and point of contact for managers and internal stakeholders, as well as external authorities and service providers
• Optimization of processes and interfaces in the payroll area and active participation in IT projects
• Preparation of reports and reporting
• Support with international assignments

Requirements:

• Completed commercial education with payroll certification; additional training at the Payroll Academy is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in payroll and ideally initial leadership responsibility
• Solid knowledge of labor, social security, and income tax law
• Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style
• Accuracy, resilience, discretion, and loyalty
• Team spirit and empathy
• Confident handling of common payroll systems – SAP preferred
• Good English and MS Office skills

Salary:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally align with market-standard salaries - meaning that, depending on the position and education, an above-collective agreement salary is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 56.000 EUR. Depending on qualifications and experience, we can also offer more!
