Development Engineer (m/f/x) for positioning systems of semiconductor machines
As development expert for mechatronic systems at EVG you are a member of the R&D department and develop systems for our machines, which are used by the big players in the high-tech industry to realize future applications in micro and nanofabrication technologies.
Primary responsibilities:
- Conception, calculation and simulation of innovative mechatronic systems
- Design of air bearings for components guided by air bearings
- Thermal and mechanical simulation in the static and dynamic range
- Vibration analysis of moving system parts and determination of damping measures
- Communication and cooperation with internal development teams and manufacturing for getting relevant data
- Technical clarification of specifications with suppliers and selection of components
- Control and feedback control systems for complex positioning systems and motion profiles
- Comparison of test data and measurement results
Requirements:
- Customer oriented and friendly appearance
- Completed degree (TU/FH/HTL) in mechatronics, physics or similar
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience with the main focus on high-precision and highly dynamic positioning systems
- Fluent German – and English skills
- Enthusiasm for solving complex tasks
- Precise and structured work style
