Chemicals Officer (m/f/x)
As a Chemicals Officer you support employees and the company in the safe handling of hazardous substances. In close cooperation with different departments, you will help to ensure security at EVG. In addition to many subject-specific tasks, your main tasks will also include organisational activities.
- Hazardous substance management of chemicals: from approving the use of new chemicals, through assessment of the risk potential, to support with compatibility analyses
- Carrying out compliance activities
- Preparation/control of safety data sheets
- Preparation of training documents and implementation of training courses in the handling of chemicals
- Prescribing security/safety measures and support/assisting in PPE selection
- Control of compliance with safety measures
- A completed chemical education or other education with a focus on chemistry (Chemistry HTL, Bachelor/Master – Chemistry, or similar)
- Experience in the field of occupational safety or chemical safety desirable
- Willingness for further education
- First experience in the chemical industry would be an advantage
- MS Office knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Independent and structured way of working, ability to work in a team
- Fluency in German, good knowledge of English
