Flexible electronic products consist of electronic circuits mounted on flexible plastic substrates. Among several products, such as flexible organic solar cells or flexible electronic packages, flexible displays are of particular interest for consumer applications as they aim to replace paper and allow for easy transport and use of electronic documents.

Flexible displays are fabricated by using deposition techniques. One of the key process steps is the deposition of organic (e.g. PEDOT) and inorganic (e.g. SU-8) materials by Spray Coating. Using Spray Coating highly uniform layers can be achieved with highly efficient use of the coated resists and other chemicals.
